The first Vesuvius’ victim during its apocalyptic eruption in 79 AD, Herculaneum was discovered in the 18th century and became one of the most famous archeological sites in the world. Smaller than Pompeii, it can be explored in 1 hour and half. Strolling around the streets of Herculaneum, you can plunge into the private lives of the Romans and feel the panic its inhabitants fell into when the volcano erupted. This tour includes transfer from/to Naples and English commentary on board.
